Running on Empty??

Do you often feel overwhelmed with the cares of this world? Do you sometimes feel like you are running on empty? Do you frequently feel like your well has run dry? What do you do when it seems like the earth all around you is sinking sand? Quoting from one of my old hymn favorites: "On Christ the solid rock I stand...All other ground is sinking sand." I am sure several of you know the words to this song. But how many truly grasp [and cling to] its full meaning? Yes, the beat sounds good. But I dare say, the lyrics are greater. Spend some time meditating on Proverbs 3:5,6: Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path.
