Nevertheless, at Thy Word!

vanwilliams5

Luke 5

5 And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.

Jesus appeared on the scene: He entered Simon’s ship and gave him three instructions: 1) push your boat (ship) a little away from the land; 2) launch out into the deep, and 3), let down your nets for a draught.

Be encouraged by His Word. FOOD FOR THOUGHT:

1) push your boat (ship) a little away from the land [perhaps you need to reposition yourself; don’t stay stuck in the same negative mindset; move away from familiarity; stop hanging around naysayers; stop doing the same thing over and over again, yet expecting different results];

2) ) launch out into the deep [TRUST HIM...don’t be moved by what you see; walk by faith and not by sight]; and

3) let down your nets for a draught [OBEY Him, BELIEVE, stay the course, trust Him, regardless of the situation].

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. (Jeremiah 29:11, King James Version)
