Rushing...You've finished your beautifully written letter or card, stuffed it into the envelope, and dropped it off in the mailbox or at the post office. You chuckle as you imagine your loved one's reaction when he/she reads your letter. Your imagination has you seeing the smile on his/her face - a heart warmed by your action. But wait...something went wrong...it never reached them. Why not? You forgot the stamp. The stamp was the assurance it would arrive at its destination.
How many tasks have you started, but never completed?
How many times did someone cross your mind and you intended to make that call, but didn't?
Stop rushing... slow down...take a deep breath...did you forget the stamp?
Well...Did you rush right into your day? Did you stop and remember to pray? What about God's stamp of approval? PRAYER: The stamp of assurance that everything is going to be alright? "Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all other things will be added" (Matt 6:33)
